Artist Bio
There are so many artists who have helped to shape me into the person and artist I am now. Some of my favorite artists take the dark, the serious , but they make it playful. That is exactly who I am to a tee. As an artist I like to take real life subjects , and turn them into something cool , something that may not be as sad as the reality of what I’m trying to convey.
Being an artist is something I am extremely grateful for. I am able to see the world in ways others can’t. Finding a purpose as an artist has been a difficult journey. But one day in class, my classmate came up to me and told me how much my art inspired her, and it really took me back. I couldn’t believe someone felt that way about something I’ve created. At that moment I knew I needed to make more people feel that way, it just felt right.
My love for art has grown into something much more than something 2D. Art to me is music, its film, its everything around us. I need to help create in that way. In this life I want to help bring movies to life, create the characters necessary for the story to be told. Create sets where these characters reside, and even dress them in their everyday clothes. The same goes for music. The music videos are almost just as vital as the song, it helps to portray something so special to us all. To help create that or to create a tour set would be magical. Art is all around us and it’s something I want to delve into.
Art is such a beautiful way to express oneself and it has been my way of communicating my emotions for as long as I can remember. I am going to create worlds , inspire , all with the power of my pencil, paper, and a little bit of charcoal to help along the way. The ability to create whole universes, stories , and people through art is something I have been lucky enough to be able to do. My future is going to be filled with meetings to create a new tv show for the comic book I created, and meeting young girls who are inspired by the cool, creepy creatures I have created. I am going to inspire people with my art, instill in them a sense of awe for the wicked weird worlds I am bound to create.
